Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you make use of the TimeTurtle app, and take effect when you create an account (i.e. sign up).
When you create an account, you must provide information that is correct and complete. You are responsible for updating this information when it changes. You are also responsible for protecting the password that you use to authenticate with our service. If you use a social account (e.g. your Google account), you are responsible for safeguarding the access to that account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you must let us know as soon as possible.
We strive for a 99.9% uptime on a monthly basis.
You own your data
Your own your data. We just store it. You can always access it if you have an account.
Starter and Pro plans
The Starter plan gives you have the right to use TimeTurtle for as long as you want, only limited by the number of projects. You do not need to provide any payment details.
You can switch to the Pro plan at any time to be able to create unlimited projects. If you have a Pro plan but have failed to pay for too long, you will fall back to the Starter plan until the payment is fulfilled. This may therefore limit your ability to create new projects.
The recurring price for the Pro plan can be changed at any time, e.g. to correct for inflation, though we will always target being affordable.
You must use TimeTurtle in a way that complies with these terms, the law, and appropriate norms and values. For example, you are not allowed to:
- Use TimeTurtle for illegal activities.
- Store illegal content in the data that we store for you.
- Attempt to hack TimeTurtle or associated services.
- Attempt to spread worms, viruses or other destructive code via TimeTurtle.
- Publish websites that attempt to look exactly like the TimeTurtle website.
- Use automated scripts to store data in TimeTurtle.
You are responsible for how your account is using the TimeTurtle service, including misusage, also if someone else has been using your account.
Termination by you
At any time, you can cancel your paid plan or request the deletion of your account.
Termination by us
When you violate these terms, you are responsible for any caused damage, including damage caused to other users, and you exempt us from these damages. We may also terminate or suspend your account immediately, with or without prior notice. When your account is terminated or suspended, you lose access to all your data. We cannot be held accountable for the damage that this may cause you.
In case of a dispute between you and us, we will always try to find a solution together. Please let us know if something is bothering you!
Circumstances beyond our control
We cannot be held accountable if we are unable to deliver to these terms due to circumstances beyond our control. These include problems with any of the third party services that we rely on, power outages, and networking problems.
Any liability of us shall in no event exceed the fees paid by you during the last two years.
We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, special incidental of consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation, lost data, lost profits, opportunities or contributions, loss of use, good will, business interruption related to the TimeTurtle service.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to the website and app
We are constantly working to improve TimeTurtle. Therefore, the website and app periodically undergo changes that may affect the user experience. In most cases this will be for the better. If you think that this is not the case, don't hesitate to let us know.
Changes in these terms
We can modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is significant we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
